Everlasting Dreamland
sculpture/painting/installation
“Everlasting Dreamland” is a project I've been working at since 2022.
It's an attempt of dream-creating, a narration of wired dreams. It all started with a desire to
“escape from reality”. Returning to my childhood room, lying on a pink bed with fluffy toys,
and then enter the dream world on the other side. There, familiar materials like fabrics and
wool form a colourful landscape: vines, wreaths, auroras, and collage surfaces spreading out
from the walls and floors.
This is the kind of thing I always see in my dreams: objects from reality randomly assembled
with fragments of memory in an elusive logic. Everything feels soft and vague, yet continuous
and progressive.
An installation of this project were exhibited on Goldsmiths MFA degree show 2023.
